The House Of Genista hopes to start exhibiting our Teddy Bears/Critters and Dolls in 2012 at Fairs etc so please watch out for information. I will be setting up an "Exhibiting" page in the nav bar when I have some dates/places/times etc.

"WILL"

"Will" is from a traditional pattern (same as Sophie and Jodie) and stands at just 7 inches tall, fully jointed, poly filled, boot button eyes. needle felted nose, cotton mouth. He has been created from a lovely vintage gold mohair. He reminds me of "Wee Willie Winkie", hence his name. He comes complete with his beige/white plush jacket and hat ready for the winter, H of G Hangtag, H of G COA. He is a cute little bear with a lovely smile.

My beautiful Chocolate Labrador "Casper Bear" had his second knee surgery last week on Tuesday 4th October (luxating patella). The operation was a lot more problematic than the last knee but Casper is doing well. He will be having his staples removed in a few days and then we will be preparing for his hip replacement in the new Year.

This photo was taken 5th October when Casper returned home after a night at the veterinary hospital. He was in some pain and not feeling too happy, hence the sad face, BUT, he is well on the mend now and back to his happy old self and getting into allsorts of mischief as usual. What would we do without him! He is such a preciouse boy!

I have been very busy all Summer with my NEW DESIGNS.

They are just off the drawing board and I am busy sewing them up till my fingers drop off (they are all hand-sewn). I will be back from my caravan vacation in a few days and hope to get my completed creations on to my website and blog asap.
