Ordering, Confirmation And Payment
You can purchase any item that is in my webstore by clicking on the "Add To Cart" button and checkout paying direct through PayPal, safely and securely. You will receive an email confirming your order and payment.
To order an item from The House Of Genista without using the webstore or an item that is not in the webstore, please email me quoting the item name, range as well as your name, contact details, and how you wish to pay for your order. I offer discounts on postage/packing should you wish to purchase more than one item. Once I have received your order I will contact you as soon as possible with details of availability, delivery and total. Once you have placed your order and had confirmation from me you can pay for your order via the following methods:

Delivery
I attempt to deliver your item as soon as I receive your order and payment. If you are paying by cheque/postal order, your item will be posted to you as soon as funds have cleared. My aim is to offer a fast and professional service to my customers worldwide. Discounts are always available on postage/packing costs should you wish to purchase more than one item. Total sent with confirmation of order.
Postage to destinations within the UK is by Royal Mail Special Delivery
Postage outside of the UK is by Royal Mail Airmail. Please email for shipping costs when placing your order with The House Of Genista, unless already stated in webstore. Non EU countries may incur custom/duty charges. These are NOT included in the price of the Bear/Item or the shipping costs and are therefore the responsibility of the purchaser, so please check prior to ordering on any costs that you may incur. I will not have that information.
Reserving A "Genista Bear"
Should you wish to reserve a "Genista Bear" please email me at genistabears@hotmail.co.uk
Bears may be marked "RESERVED" for up to 48 hours while payment arrangements are confirmed. Once payment has been received, the bear will then be marked "SOLD".
Should you wish to reserve a bear for longer, with a small deposit, please email me with your requirements OR do consider my Lay-A-Way Service below.....
Layaway Service
A Layaway Service is available to all of my customers. I realise that buying a Collectible Bear can be an expensive hobby. Layaway enables you to spread the cost of your purchase over three months with a 10% deposit. Interest free layaway is available on all items over £50. Payment is made by three equal monthly payments. Item is dispatched after the final payment is made. Payments can be made by cheque/postal order or online via PayPal. Should the Layaway not be completed through no fault of The House Of Genista, then a 20% handling fee will be deducted before any balance is returned. Returns
To ensure my customers receive their goods in perfect condition, all goods are carefully checked and packed before dispatch. The House Of Genista takes pride in offering works of a high standard in quality, created with care and dedication to hopefully meet with your highest expectations. I am sure you will be happy with your purchase from The House Of Genista, but should the goods you have ordered be unsuitable, for whatever reason, they may be returned within seven days from receipt for an exchange or a full refund. Returned goods must be returned in PERFECT CONDITION and with all original packaging, tags, certificates etc intact. Postage costs however cannot be refunded.
Please contact me at genistabears@hotmail.co.uk within 7 days of receipt prior to returning the goods to notify me of the reason for return. All goods are sent back at your own risk so it is advisable to insure the same to avoid any loss.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any of these items within a period of seven working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. The item MUST be returned in ORIGINAL CONDITION complete with any accessories, packaging, tags, labels etc.
Product Images And Descriptions
Every effort is made to ensure the product image, colour representation and item descriptions on this website are a fair representation of the actual products and colours, but some colourings may vary slightly from the colours shown due to photographic process.
With regard to my Antique/Vintage Collection, although I provide photographic and descriptive accounts, it must be realised that due to the age of these bears and various conditions, it is not always possible to cover every minute detail in a description. Some wear must be expected with Antique/Vintage Bears. Old and Antique bears are often in suprisingly good condition, but after many years of play, often followed by decades of neglect will inevitably lead to have wear on some of our teddies. With this in mind it is important to note that all descriptions are as full and accurate as seen from my perspective as is realistically possible. The House Of Genista cannot be held responsible for minor omissions in descriptions or minor colour variations as this would be very difficult due to space. Ages given for the bears are approximate and cannot be totally guaranteed. However, please feel free to email me with any questions regarding any of the bears that I have for sale. If you are unsure about a purchase, I will happily provide a more detailed description and/or further photographs on request. My priority is customer satisfaction. Also, if you are not completely happy with a purchase, you may return it to me with no quibbles. (Please see returns)
All items offered for sale on this website are guaranteed to be in perfect condition - apart from my "Antique/Vintage" Collection of course. Most of the bears on this site are "Collectibles" and are not suitable for children, unless otherwise stated.
